One comparison to Freedom’s Radicals is the illiteracy, mysticism and anarchy of the Dark Ages. In the modern and postmodern eras the comparisons include the human disasters known as the French Revolution, the Bolshevik Revolution and the Cuban Revolution. Freedom’s Radicals today are creating disequilibrium in favor of peaceful human progress.
Philosophy is largely unappreciated. This is a shame, everyone has one. For most people, their philosophy is a random collection of slogans that have been acquired from popular culture. It is not grounded in rational core principles. The first tenet of our Manifesto alludes to the philosophical core our Poetic Justice Warriors profess – reason, purpose and pride.
Like all great entrepreneurs, Lloyd best understood the needs of his customers and created innovative ways to serve those needs. Like the world wide web, he was open for business everyday, day and night. Lloyd knew better than anyone that the most important service he could deliver to these particular customers was information.
Victor Hugo asks, “Who set cold white panes in place of that stained glass of gorgeous hue? An architect, on the plea of good taste, amputated it.” And one might also ask, what has become of the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution, the one that guarantees federalism? Our progressive masters, on the plea of the common good, amputated it.
“Harmony, balance and rhythm. They’re the three things that stay with you your whole life. Without them, civilization is out of whack.” This is a wonderful metaphor for the life-sustaining elegance of free markets and human action.
Why would these institutions of “higher learning” admit students who are not prepared, or whose ambitions are poorly served by college matriculation in the first place? It pays, and the way to insure the sustainability of their unearned wealth is to create, out of thin air, degreed programs that cater to the mass market of unprepared high school graduates.
The more uncertain are the people of the world, the more they need a ringing statement of America’s democratic ideals. The soul of our film should be anchored in Lincoln. It is never untimely to yank the rope of freedom’s bell.
All human actions are driven by the force of entrepreneurship, which continually creates, discovers and transmits information, as it adjusts and coordinates the contradictory plans of the different individuals through competition and enables them to live and coexist in an increasingly rich and complex environment.
The wonderful consequence of this scandal is that it is shedding light on the utter corruption driving the university system. The source of the fraud can be simply attributed to third-party payers, mostly government. This means that there is no efficient price mechanism for tuition and fees.
Garrett wrote that the elimination of poverty was a uniquely American idea. Americans made work the ideas of Poetic Justice Warrior Jean-Baptiste Say, that wages are paid out of production, that wages and profits can rise together, and that rising production creates capital.
